Overview
AirSlot was conceptualized as a seamless hyper-local service marketplace designed to streamline home and personal service discovery. The mobile app interface focuses on speed and transparency, allowing users to select service categories, compare local vendors by ratings and price, view real-time time-slot availability, and confirm bookings with itemized digital invoices—all within a clean, modern design aesthetic.
The Goal
Simplified Onboarding: Design a fast, minimalist login and sign-up flow using phone/email verification for low user friction. Intuitive Navigation & Discovery: Build a location-aware homepage with search capabilities, promo banners, and structured category/sub-category browsing (e.g., Hair Dressers, Mechanics, Pet Care, Car Repair & Services, Plumber, Carpenter). Real-Time Slot Scheduling: Implement an interactive time-slot selection calendar enabling users to book instant or scheduled appointments with preferred vendors. Vendor Transparency & Management: Provide clear vendor profiles featuring ratings, completed job counts, user reviews, location directions, and built-in booking/invoice management screens.
What We Built
Frictionless UX Wireframing: Designed minimalist 2-step phone/OTP and detail registration screens to get users to the service discovery screen instantly. Categorized Discovery System: Built a grid-based category layout with location selectors, search bars, promotional offer banners, and sub-category lists. Interactive Slot Selection Component: Created a calendar and time-slotpicker interface allowing users to filter vendors by available dates and specific hour blocks. Comprehensive Booking & Invoice Architecture: Developed detailed vendor overview screens complete with star ratings, job history, customer reviews, map integration, and automated digital receipts.
Results
Cohesive Design System: Created a high-contrast UI utilizing sleek dark top/bottom navigation bars, vibrant accent highlights, clean typography, and recognizable custom iconography. End-to-End User Journey: Completed screen flows spanning authentication, category discovery, service vendor filtering, slot selection, vendor review pages, and payment confirmation. Optimized UX & Booking Efficiency: Designed clear invoice breakdowns (Base Amount, Tax, Total) and active booking tracking screens to give users full control over their service schedules.
